About myself

Dr.B.Srinivasa Rao, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, completed his Ph.D from University of Bhopal, Bhopal, India and has over Thirty years of academic, research and administration experience. His Ph.D work was on Computer Simulations of Complex Defects. He had earned Masters of Technology in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, India. He completed Master of Philosophy with Microprocessors and Space Physics as specializations from RD University, Jabalpur, India. He obtained Master of Science degree with Electronics and Radio Physics specialization from RD University, Jabalpur, India. He also got Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from University of Hyderabad, India. He visited the National University Singapore, Singapore in 2004.

Dr. Srinivasa Rao is currently managing the Faculty of Computer Programming and Data Structures at Department Computer Science and Engineering, GRIET, since 2013. In addition, he has also handled responsibilities of Dean of Finishing School and BOS Chairman for I year B.Tech.

Dr. Srinivasa Rao, current research interests include design and implementation of cryptanalytic attacks for various security systems, developing cryptographic security models for Internet and WSN, Designing energy efficient algorithms for WSN and Modelling and simulation of various systems, in which he has more than 65 publications, in various journals and conferences. He is currently working on design of combined cryptanalysis techniques for block ciphers and hash algorithms and message digest algorithms. He is supervising Five Ph.D. students. He was awardees of CSIR, New Delhi direct Senior Research Fellowship in 1990 and awardees of MAPCOST Junior Research Fellowship in 1988.
