      About myself

Dr. Karanam Madhavi, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department, completed her Ph.D from JNTUA in 2013. She has over twenty five years of academic experience in various institutions across India. Her Ph.D work was on Model-Driven Software Evolution which was carried at JNTUA, Anantapur, A.P, India. Prior to PhD, she had earned Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Kuvempu University, Karnataka in 1997, and M.Tech in Software Engineering from JNTUA, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh in 2003. Dr,Madhavi has interest include Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing and Education Technology. Dr. Madhavi is Dean ICT in GRIET since August 2023. She served as a Head of the Department and has been taken this administration role From December 2018 to August 2023. She was a Dean ICT and ICT Coordinator, managed Learning Management System of GRIET-Moodle for Teaching –Learning purpose to all undergraduate and Post graduate degree programmes at GRIET. She has been in this role since 2016. These Moodle courses conducted every year from which 5000+ students are benefitted. In past Dr.Madhavi had major role as M.Tech coordinator and NBA Coordinator for M.Tech Software Engineering. Dr.Madhavi was active to take part in CSI memberships as a CSI Student Brach Counsellor. She has been in this role from 2016 to 2021. Various technical and non technical events were conducted under supervision of Dr.Madhavi as a CSI SB Counsellor. She has published many papers in international journals and conferences. She is Life Member of CSI and ISTE professional chapters.
